Dartmouth guy claims Grindr hook-up resulted in assault that is sexual

The complainant took the stand Tuesday at a Dartmouth man’s test on a cost of intimate attack.

Gregory Howard Bowser, 28, is accused of intimately assaulting a guy at a home in south-end Halifax into the morning hours of Oct. 16, 2016.

The attack allegedly took place after the complainant took a cab into the Tower path target looking to have sexual intercourse with a different sort of man he previously simply met on Grindr, a social network software.

Bowser’s test got underway Monday in Nova Scotia Supreme Court in Halifax. A jury of seven guys and five females is hearing the full situation, with Justice Timothy Gabriel presiding.

Three police testified ahead of the alleged victim, whoever identification is protected by a publication ban.

The 24-year-old guy told the court he had been house lying on their sleep and seeking at mocospace social media marketing on his phone as he started trading communications with a person whoever Grindr handle had been Jockinraw.

“I happened to be definitely bored stiff and just trying to find sex,” the complainant stated during direct assessment by Crown lawyer Tanya Carter.
